With over 50 years combined experience in the catering business, Donn and Bridget Nannen are the proud owners of Greens Point Catering. Together they have three children: Michael, 13, Jetta, 10, and Greens Point Catering, age 20!  Donn and Bridget have delighted in sharing their passion for food and life with all the families through the years. They feel very blessed to have the strongest team in Boulder County working along side them at Greens Point Catering. Their motto is “No Exceptions. No Excuses. We strive for 110%!!”

 


Our Staff

Executive Chef Christopher Pierce brings to Greens Point Catering a passion for food and for giving back to the community in which he lives.   As with most of the top chefs in the industry, Chef Pierce began his culinary journey working in kitchens by the age of 16.   He has since worked in the kitchens of such culinary notables as Marcus Samuelsson, Grant Achatz, Guiseppi Tentori and John Platt.   Locally,  Chef Pierce’s work at Q’s,  Tahona Tequila Bistro and Magnolia Steak & Seafood  garnered much interest before he embarked upon a two year tour as chef to the artists of Cirque du Soleil’s KOOZA.  Chef Pierce’s use of seasonal, local and sustainable ingredients set his creations apart.  Since joining Greens Point Catering, he has created our monthly charitable wine dinners and participation in the Longmont Farmers Market.  He looks forward to creating an amazing menu and meal for you!

Susie Plank joined the Greens Point Catering team in 2003.  A 1988 graduate of CU Boulder in marketing, she was thrilled to bring fifteen years of sales experience to the Greens Point team.  Prior to event designing/sales at Greens Point, she worked in all facets of the catering operation including wait staff captain, chef captain, corporate catering, and office administration.  She has a heart for serving people and she loves seeing the smiles on their faces as they enjoy a successful event.

Having owned and operated her own successful personal chef business, Christina Merrill brings many years of experience and enthusiasm to the Greens Point Catering’s Event Design/Sales team. Feeling fortunate to enjoy a career where each day brings new creative opportunities, Christina enjoys getting to know her clients and takes a very real interest in creating the event of their dreams. A longtime mountain resident, Christina’s love of cooking and entertaining is paralleled only by her passion for the great outdoors and spending time with loved ones, both two-legged and four. Christina has traveled extensively and relishes each opportunity to learn more about other cultures customs and cuisine.

Joanie Heddles brings with her over thirty years of experience in the food and hospitatlity business. Joanie has a passion for helping her clients create a style by incorporating both food and decor. Her knowledge of current food trends and hopsitality makes each of her events memorable. Joanie’s personal dream for every client is that she can help them to be “guests instead of hosts at their own event.

After planning national conferences for groups of 200 – 5,000 attendees in Washington, DC,  Melissa Mayhew was excited to transition her event planning experience to the social arena.  She  joined Greens Point in May of 2010.  Working with clients to transform their vision into a successfully executed event is her favorite part of the job.  With hundreds of events under her belt, Melissa is always honest about what works and what does not – while also making sure to focus on what is most important to the client.  When not at Greens Point, you can find Melissa outside enjoying the beautiful Colorado weather.

Anna Mundale infuses every Greens Point catered affair with positive energy.  Her years of experience as a Boulder event planner ensure she’ll create an environment that always sets the appropriate tone. Anna’s hospitality background in fine hotels and as a restaurant manager add an extra dimension to creation of menus.  From the earliest stages of planning to the completion of every event, she insures that each client receives the unique personal service that is Greens Point Catering’s hallmark.  Anna has an innate ability to anticipate particular needs and her upbeat personality makes every Greens Point experience a pleasure that your guests will remember
